Our Henley River Cruise Trip
In July our members boarded the luxurious, glass-encased river cruiser HIBERNIA at Henley to enjoy a 2 hour cruise to explore the beauty and history of the River Thames. While members enjoyed an excellent afternoon tea of sandwiches, cakes and liquid refreshment Helen, a blue badge river guide gave an entertaining talk about the sites and houses along the river. Members were also given close-up view of the Henley Traditional Boat Festival which was in full swing as we passed.

The Cotswolds River Thames Explorer-
A guided tour starting at Burford with refreshments followed by Fairford to see the medieval stained glass window followed by a short river trip from Lechlade to the highest navigable part of the Thames-
The Mini factory at Oxford -
A trip from Tower Pier to Southend on Thames and the cockering village of Leigh-on-Sea -
A boat on the Thames from Maidenhead with lunch on board -
